<h3><strong>1-Tell us About Yourself</strong></h3>
<p>My name is Marie-Eve Juneau, and I have been a virtual assistant since February 2021. My professional mission is to support entrepreneurs regarding their general administration to help them save their mental health. My clients managed to build their businesses alone. They are truly extraordinary; however, it becomes heavy to be alone and think about everything at one point.</p>
<h3><strong>2-Where Does Your Interest in Your Work Come From?</strong></h3>
<p>Younger, I was passionate about animals and nature. I believed that I would be working in this field. Finally, a career counselor suggested that I could become an administrative assistant. I was a little disappointed, but I have nonetheless decided to study in the executive branch. I have been working in this field since 2008, and I love it. With time, it became clear that what motivates me is to allow people with whom I work to retrieve peace of mind.</p>
<h3><strong>3-How Did You Become Self-Employed?</strong></h3>
<p>After a great professional deception, I could not imagine myself working in another business. I wanted flexibility and freedom in a healthy work environment with people I like. This perfect employer might exist, but I realized it was simpler to create my ideal job!</p>
<h3><strong>4-What Is the Most Challenging Part of Self-Employment?</strong></h3>
<p>The challenges are different for everyone, but in my case, I find it the most difficult to manage my workload according to my available time. Most of my clients have needs on a regular basis that require a stable number of hours. I also have other clients with more punctual needs, and where I need to find them some time here and there in my schedule. In addition, we must not forget life’s unexpected events that often happen when we have young kids! I always managed to complete everything in time, but something I am a little more stressed!!</p>
<h3><strong>5-Which Part of Being Self-Employed Do You Like the Most?</strong></h3>
<p>The flexibility. For me, that is worth its weight in gold. Suppose my children are sick, no worries. I take care of them, and I manage to do all my tasks by working evenings and weekends if needed. It is okay if I want to organize an activity with my friends during the week, and I manage myself consequently. And if I am tired and only want to rest, why not? The fact that I respect my rhythm allows me to be at my best when working for my clients.</p>
<h3><strong>6-Tell Us About Your Work Routine.</strong></h3>
<p>I start my work day near 7:30 when my children leave the house. I check all my clients’ mailboxes and then work on the files that need to be done quickly.</p>
<p>Everything that needs more concentration is done before noon because it is the moment where I am the most productive and focused.</p>
<p>I finished my day at 4 pm at the latest. </p>
<p>It sometimes happens (rarely) to work during evenings or weekends to compensate for the lost work hours because of unplanned events or activities during the week.</p>

<h3><strong>8-How Did You Learn About Momenteo, and How Long Have You Used It?</strong></h3>
<p>When I started as a virtual assistant, I used Word for my invoices and Excel for my finances monitoring. It was okay, but I wanted something simpler. I saw many posts where self-employed workers recommended Momenteo. Therefore, it found it trustworthy. I have been using it since October 2021.</p>
<h3><strong>9-What Makes Momenteo Different from Other Accounting Tools?</strong></h3>
<p>Momenteo is super simple to use. Moreover, I love how the reports look! I am not fond of accounting very much, but Momenteo clarified it. It motivates me to check my reports and see my financial goals achieved!</p>
<h3><strong>10-How Did You Find Your First Customers? </strong></h3>
<p>I found my first customers on entrepreneur groups on Facebook and with the help of a network of French-speaking virtual assistants. I also got some projects from people who discovered my profile on LinkedIn. But for several months now, my regular clients have recommended me. People contact me. </p>
<h3><strong>11-What Are Your Tips for Someone Who Would Like to Get Into Freelance?</strong></h3>
<p>It is super important to aim for networking and authentic connections right from the start. Even if it can look like a lot of work at first and we often do not see the results right away, in the long term, it is beneficial. Every seed you plant can become a door that might open one day!</p>
<h3><strong>12-What Project Are You Most Proud of?</strong></h3>
<p>It is not exactly a project, but I am very proud of my collaboration with my clients, especially with my first client. We have been working together since February 2021 and have great complicity. It makes me proud, and I remember this collaboration is extraordinary when I live more difficult times. It inspires me to continue my efforts to create great relationships with other entrepreneurs. </p>
<h3><strong> 13-Do You Have any Big Plans for This Fall?</strong></h3>
<p>Not really. Everything has been running smoothly for the last months, so I am mainly looking to stabilize my workload.</p>
